ID 1405: A brief outline of the role some local people played in the Second World War as part of a small band of no more than 7 or 8 in number who's job it was in the event of an invasion, to remain covert and cause widespread disruption to the Germans.<br />
One such band operated out of a secret post in Thorington near to the present day A12.<br />
They were part of what came to be known as Churchill's Secret Army.
