ID 159: Looking along Back Road from the crossroads between Driftwood and Crossways. The Church is clearly visible in this photo although you would not see it now as the tress have grown considerably in the 70+ years since the photo was taken.<br />
Note the chimney stack and pots of the cottage now demolished where Walter 'Conk' Newby lived. A gale blew the roof off in the 1940s and the cottage was subsequently demolished
