The children are, left to right, George (1888-1960) who lived on Blackheath, and was the father of, among others, David, Will and Marjorie,
Leonard (1893-1917) who died in the First World War,
Eliza Jane, known as Jenny, (1880-1950), who emigrated to New Zealand,
Fred, (1883-?), who joined the army, and then became a school master,
Lizzie (1877-1965), who emigrated to Canada, married Percy Cross, and came back to Wenhaston when he died, and lived in Sycamore Cottage,
James (1890-1972) who lost his leg in the First World War, and came back to Wenhaston, where he lived in Poplar Cottage, and ran the shoemaker's shop,
Martha (1886-1967) who married and ended up living in Lowestoft,
and (kneeling) Florrie (1899-?), who married Lewis Flatt from Thorington, before emigrating to Australia.
