ID 2491: Late 1980s snow being investigated by Martin Heaps, wisely wrapped up with both balaclava and woolly hat. The location is the top of Star Hill, where the snow has been blown through gaps in the bushes and hedge to produce twisted shapes. At various times in Winter Wenhaston has been cut off to traffic due to snow, despite snow ploughs visiting the village. This is because the village is at the top of a hill and vehicles have difficulty with the uphill approaches.
