Died June 1940 in Leicester, England (Ref Vol 7a, pg 670)<br />

At the time of the census of 1861 Emma was living in Yoxford, Suffolk.<br />
<br />
At the time of the census of 1871 Emma was living in Wenhaston.<br />
<br />
She married in Oct 1875 to John Castell Deck of Eye, Suffolk, with whom she had eight children (listed below).<br />
<br />
At the time of the census of 1881 Emma was living at Street Farm (?) Wenhaston with her husband and 3 children. The farm was 128 Ac and the family employed 3 men and 2 boys.<br />
<br />
At the time of the census of 1891 Emma was still living in Wenhaston with husband but now with 8 children.<br />
<br />
At the time of the census of 1901 (entry number 48 on page 9 or 54 of the census return [by implication because she was entered on the previous page]) Emma was living at Kirby Cottage on Belstead Rd, Stoke St Mary, Suffolk with 6 of her children. Her husband John had died on 2 Feb1893 before (?) the birth of their last child later that year. <br />

In 1904 Emma emigrated to Canada having been allocated a Quarter Section of land near Star City Saskatchewan next to two of her sons on 18 May 1903.<br />
<br />
In 1906, at the time of the Canada Census, she still lived there.<br />
<br />
At 2 April 1911, the time of the census, Emma was living in Great Waldingfield, Suffolk with her two unmarried daughters.<br />
<br />
In September 1915 Emma lived at 210 Cauldwell Hall Rd. Ipswich at the time of the death of her son Richmond in WW I.<br />
